What does CNSA do for me?
CNSA is the official voice of nursing students in Canada. CNSA
represents students and their interests to government, healthcare
organizations and to the media.
CNSA is dedicated to providing opportunities to its member nursing students. CNSA can:
- Provide an opportunity for participating members to acquire and demonstrate leadership and organizational skills;
- Increase students' awareness of relevant political and ethical
issues which will affect their future as health care professionals;
- Prepare students for active membership within professional nursing associations;
- Provide insight into the business procedures and policies of professional organizations;
- Provide opportunities for involvement in health care issues and health promotion; and
- Offer exposure to changing nursing philosophies and specialty areas of nursing.
